Captain Bob Bryan will lead the United States into the Davis Cup Finals with twin brother Mike serving as coach starting November 19 at the Palacio de Deportes Martín Carpena in Málaga, Spain.
The United States has assembled a strong team for this year's finals. Competing in singles are world #5 Taylor Fritz, world #12 Tommy Paul, and world #21 Ben Shelton. The doubles team features veterans Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram.
The first match in the tournament format will be against a formidable Australian team, led by Captain Lleyton Hewitt. Australia's lineup includes singles players Alexei Popyrin, Thanasi Kokkinakis, and Matthew Ebden with Jordan Thompson and Max Purcell handling the doubles responsibilities.
The format is knockout style and begins with the quarterfinal round. The first-round slate is Italy vs. Argentina, USA vs. Australia, Germany vs. Canada, and Netherlands vs. Spain.
