Bryans Named Fans’ Favorite For 13th Time

American twins extend record reign in doubles category

Bob and Mike Bryan have been voted by fans as the ATP Fans’ Favorite Doubles Team for the 13th year in a row. They received their trophies at the ATP Finals Party at the Tower of London.

The Bryans are playing the season ending Nitto Masters at the O2 Arena in London starting November 13 and they have won this event four times. The twins, who have been the #1 team in the world a record setting ten times, have captured 114 doubles titles in their career, along with 16 Grand Slam Championships and five Olympic medals.

During the 2017 campaign, Mike and Bob won Atlanta and Eastbourne, while reaching the Finals of the Australian Open and the Semis at the US Open, Miami, Rome, Washington DC, Stuttgart, and Houston.

Mike and Bob said, “Big honor to bring this award home again. Thanks for all who voted and we'll keep giving our all on and off the courts. We are grateful!”

Coming in 2nd through 5th in the Fan Favorite Doubles Team voting were:

Feliciano Lopez-Marc Lopez;
Jamie Murray-Bruno Soares;
Pierre Hughes Herbert-Nicolas Mahut; and
Rohan Bopanna-Pablo Cuevas.

Other ATP Award Winners were Roger Federer for the Fan Favorite Singles Player and Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award; Denis Shapovalov for Most Improved Player; Neville Godwin for Coach of the Year; andHoria Tecau for the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award.

The ATP’s Best Tournaments Awards went to Indian Wells for Masters 1000; Acapulco for ATP 500; and Doha for ATP 250.
