Bryan Bros Doubles Race

Bryan Bros Doubles Race

The Bryan Bros. Doubles Race is a junior tennis initiative established by USTA Southern California in collaboration with legendary doubles players Bob and Mike Bryan. This program emphasizes the importance of doubles play in junior tennis, aiming to enhance skills such as teamwork, net play, footwork, and reflexes.

How the Race Works:

- Point Accumulation: Junior players earn points by participating in Level 3 to Level 5 doubles events throughout the calendar year. Points are awarded based on performance, with higher placements earning more points.

- Year-End Recognition: The top point earners in each age division are honored at the end of the year. Winners have the unique opportunity to meet the Bryan Brothers during a special award ceremony held at the BNP Paribas Open.

Recent Highlights:

- The 2024 Bryan Bros. Doubles Race champions were celebrated for their achievements and are slated to be honored at the 2025 BNP Paribas Open.

- Past winners have expressed pride in their accomplishments, highlighting the prestige associated with the race.

By promoting doubles competition through this race, USTA Southern California and the Bryan Brothers aim to cultivate well-rounded players who appreciate the nuances of both singles and doubles play.
