The Bryan Brothers continued their dominance in Grand Slam Legends competition winning their second consecutive Wimbledon Invitation Gentleman's Doubles Championship by defeating former ATP superstars and longtime pals James Blake and Lleyton Hewitt, 6-3, 4-6 (10-6).
This was the first back-to-back Wimbledon Gentleman's Invitation Doubles Championship won by any team in nearly a decade since Thomas Enqvist and Mark Philippoussis accomplished the feat in 2014.
The dynamic duo had a perfect record in the round robin stage, which featured 16 of the ATP's greatest stars. Moving through the opening three rounds with ease, Bob and Mike did not drop a set. In day one action, the Bryans defeated Sebastien Grosjean and Radek Stepanek, 7-5 6-4, following up with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Wayne Black and Bruno Soares and secured their spot in the finals with a 6-3,6-3 win over Tommy Haas and Philippoussis.
Bob and Mike are undefeated in Grand Slam senior events in 2023 having captured the Australian Open Men's Legends Doubles title in January.
