WIMBLEDON, LONDON – Tennis legends Bob and Mike Bryan added another prestigious victory to their storied careers capturing the 2025 Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Invitation Doubles title in front of a roaring Centre Court crowd.
The American twins, widely regarded as the greatest doubles team in tennis history, delivered yet another masterclass in teamwork and shot-making to defeat former ATP stars Lleyton Hewitt and Mark Philippoussis 6–1, 5–7, (10–3).
Philippoussis and Hewitt notably partnered in 2017 to win the championship together. Hewitt’s loss follows a pair of defeats in the finals against the Bryans, whom he faced in the finals in both 2023 and 2024.
The Bryans topped the Group A round robin with a perfect 3–0 record, winning all three matches in straight sets, They dominated en route to their fourth consecutive finals appearance beating Tommy Haas and Feliciano Lopez 6–3, 7–6(4), followed by victories over Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau 6–3, 6–3, and Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah 6–1, 7–6 (10-7).
The win marks yet another memorable chapter for the Bryan Brothers at the All-England Club, where the pair have previously lifted the main draw doubles trophy three times (2006, 2011, and 2013) and now have repeated as the Invitation champions for the fourth consecutive year (2022 – 2025), tying Philippoussis for the most Invitation titles with four, and becoming the winningest duo in the Invitation tournament, surpassing former doubles greats Jacco Eltingh and Paul Haarhuis.
Following their victory, the Bryan Brothers were present for the Champions Dinner, celebrating Jannik Sinner’s and Iga Świątek’s first Wimbledon titles and joining fellow champions in honoring the new generation of tennis excellence.
Though now retired from the ATP Tour since 2020, the Brothers continue to inspire with their on-court chemistry and passion for the game. Known for their iconic chest bumps, mirror-image style, and record-breaking accomplishments—including 16 Grand Slam titles and 119 tour-level doubles titles—the Bryans remain global ambassadors for the sport and continue their dominance into retirement.
With their 2025 Wimbledon Invitation victory, Bob and Mike once again proved that their bond as brothers—and doubles partners—is as strong as ever.
